Scuola Edile Padova - CPT is a bilateral training centre for the building sector. Bilateral means that it is a private organisation owned by:
- ANCE-PADOVA - building entrepreneurs’ association
- FENEAL-UIL; FILCA-CISL; FILLEA-CGIL – trade unions (representing the building sector)
In the first collective national labour contract (1946) social parts agreed to found “building schools” organised at provincial level and managed in a bilateral way (employers + workers). Scuola Edile Padova - CPT was founded in Padua on the 11th December 1947. The school activities are financed by:
- Building companies (in percentage to the total salaries of their employees);
- Public funds (region, EU Commission, Ministry)
Scuola Edile Padova - CPT has organizational and financial autonomy but is coordinated on a national level by the FORMEDIL. FORMEDIL is the national organization of the vocational training system for the BUILDING sector. The vocational training measures are carried out by the territorial building schools according to the needs of the local job market.

- Restoration training: traditional techniques for maintenance and restoration of architectural heritage and technology innovation

Students:
- Initial training
- Young students (15) – after compulsory school
- They can obtain a regional qualification in the building sector (bricklayer, carpenter, excavator driver, etc.) (3-year course)
- Life long training
- Training for employees to update their skills
- Training for workers who would like to start their own enterprise
- Training for entrepreneurs and technicians who would like to update their technical and management skills
- Training in work safety
- Higher training
- Training for unemployed people in the building and restoration sector
- Mainly financed by ESF
Currently employees amount to 15 between employees and teachers. Moreover the school involves an amount of 50 teachers dealing with different subjects (humanistic disciplines, law, science, technological disciplines, safety at work, masonry and carpentry laboratories). In the current school year 2020/2021 there are about one hundred students. Scuola Edile Padova is a VET school which is mainly involved with initial training courses in the building sector for young students (from 13 up to 17 years old). The school's employees are very qualified in training courses including different subjects such as technology, carpentry and masonry labs, ICT labs.
The staff involved in the project are the following:
- Andrea Pagnacco. Headmaster of the school. Coordinator of the human resource management of the school. Coordinator of the educational activities. He is also the responsible of the selection and negotiation. He takes care of the reporting of the project accounts and the preparation of the project documents.
- Christine Rossi. Project manager involved in funded training activities. She deals with the planning of the management and coordination of training activities, the organization and publicity of events
- Massimo Liviero. Carpentry and masonry laboratory teacher for any practical and demonstrative parts to be included in the project in order to make those who study the videogame understand the various stages of carrying out the practical work.
- A teacher of technology subject, who is graduated in architecture or engineering who will take care of the development of the project themes in coordination with the school staff and with the other project partners.
